These Indian stilbites are famous for their beautiful crystal associations. They are frequently found growing alongside green or transparent apophyllite, pale heulandite, white calcite, and sparkling quartz. While natural stilbite can be colorless or white, the specimens from India are widely collected for their rich peach, salmon, pink, and orange hues.
Because of its porous, sponge-like internal structure, it is considered a zeolite mineral. These unique channels allow the crystal to filter and exchange various molecules.
