This specimen is a classic piece from the famous Picher Field locality in Oklahoma. It's well-formed, gun metal gray colored cubes of Galena associated with dark complex crystals of Sphalerite. Galena, is a lead sulfide mineral (Pb2+S2- ), and sphalerite is a zinc, iron sulfide mineral (Zn,Fe)S.
