The orthoceras is an extinct form of straight-shelled cephalopod. They existed during the Devonian period (approx 360 MYA). They lived inside of their shell and used their tentacles to catch food. Additionally, their means of mobility was by jet propulsion, using squirting water for movement. These fossils can be found most commonly in Morocco, Sweden, and even Antarctica.
