Product description

Moqui Marbles are small circular spheres ranging from brown to black in color. They are the result of iron oxide and sandstone that formed underground when iron minerals precipitated from running groundwater. The word "Moqui" comes from the Hopi tribe, who were formerly called Moquis by the Spaniards before changing their tribal name in the early 1900's. Moqui marbles are found in Navajo sandstone in the public lands of Arizona and Utah.

These marbles are 1" x 1".
