Mangano Calcite (Ca,Mn)CO3 is a variety of calcite that is rich in manganese. It's rosy pink to red color deepens proportionally to its manganese content. It can be confused with Rhodochrosite due to its similar rosy color, but doesn't share the same crystal structure since they form under different conditions. The most notable locations it can be found in are Bulgaria, Mexico, and the Cave of Swords in Naica.
